I suddenly remembered that mastodon was a thing.

I will probably only be at PAX East on Sunday (CXG Mentor Lounge, followed by my panel at 1:30pm), but I'd love to see people! I'll also be at Made in MA tonight. And obviously, y'all should come to Women in Games Boston's demo night on Monday <3

Hey Bay Area folk, I'm coming to San Francisco in mid-March (17-24), and I want to hang out <3

Dear websites that try to guilt me into turning off my ad blocker: that's a wasted effort, it only serves to piss me off.

I did a thing a few years ago where I collected weird free postcards from places (restaurants, game swag, etc) and then sent them out to various people. I've amassed a small collection again, so who wants one?

Things that drive Adri nuts: Every other post on this one polyamory group is a photo of either a) something unicorn-related or b) an unrelated use of the word "poly".

Yesterday, I played a hybrid of Call of Cthulhu and AD&D called "Ravenloft of Cthulhu".

I will forever hear "sheep among wolves" as "sheep in my walls."

Attending a "retrofuturism festival" this weekend! It's got Lots of Things (so much synthwave), but most importantly, I'm looking forward to playing new-to-me RPGs and board games. (It looks like the LARPs are all day affairs, and I don't want to limit myself.)

Whoops. I guess you can't put a hashtag in a CW header.

#Introductions post:

I'm an avid gamer, whether it's video games, board games, live action roleplaying, or tabletop roleplaying.

I write text adventures, and I specialize in short, adorable games. I also work in the games industry, although I'm somewhat private about where exactly.

I run two local game dev meetups, curate games for a local games festival, and am in the early stages of running a narrative games conference.

Hi! Game Making Social is a part of the Fediverse dedicated to being a well-moderated, cosy, friendly place to talk and share stuff about amateur videogame making, and everything surrounding that.
