It basically says that people within the EU should be able to resell their steam bought games as well as that geo blocking stores between different EU members violates their digital single market policies. Valve wants to appeal against this TGI (Tribunal de Grande Instance) ruling.

For every gross dude you tolerate, there's almost certainly several people who are pushed out of that space you created for him

The more influential the gross dude, the more people will emulate him and help to push out even more people

And it's mostly women who get pushed out

So for the likes of RMS and Torvalds, the damage they have done to the field of Computer Science may be incalculable

Just re-upping this offer: because being comfortable with git is a barrier to entry to many FS/OSS projects, and because I care deeply about lowering those barriers, I will tutor anyone who asks for help with git, and/or connect them with any mentor(s) they might prefer.

I'll do this while I put energy and work into making the tool more approachable, and into making better tools and learning paths.

And no, I don't mean making for Android, I mean making within Android itself.

The famous author H.G. Wells (War of the words, The Timemashine) published a book called 'Little Wars' in 1913.
This was the first printed ruleset for a tabletop wargame with miniatures ever and makes Wells the grandfather of games like Warhammer and BattleTech.

At the internet archive they have a nice scan of 'Little Wars':
