Remembering when my brother made a MIDI version of that spinning plates Radiohead song and it sounded amazing. Lots of reverse cymbals.

how to celebrate #AutisticPrideDay:

• stop making so much noise all the time
• leave us alone, we're trying to get some dang work done
• don't accidentally give any money to Autism Speaks, it's a hate group
• ban ABA
• fuck the police

Imagine if you could take a fish to the museum and they would put it in a tank just like animal crossing

If anyone's looking feel free to let me know what you're after and I'll keep an eye out.

hot tip for searching/sorting the itch.io Racial Justice bundle

Use this website!!! It even sort by date added by default so you can just browse the games added since the last time you looked. Also be sure to click "Show more filters"

Ya know how websites have privacy policies... maybe I should be able to have a privacy policy file on my computer, linked to my browser, and any company should have to agree to it before they interact with me.

Finally got around to reuploading and reposting my old 2018 twine games on my new itch account.. new games are coming soon but it's a slow process right now.

demongarden.itch.io/spiralux

The game was released in a limited run, so it is very rare, but the download is out there. Because I would love 4 more people to discover it, the simplest way to run it on a modern Windows machine would be to download a package from The Collection Chamber:
collectionchamber.blogspot.com
(it uses DosBox + Win3.1 to run the game & it glitches where it shows a white box instead of text that you enter. It's fairly small glitch, and doesn't affect much. Alt + Enter gives you full screen. Ctrl + S to save.)

gamemaking.social

Hi! Game Making Social is a part of the Fediverse dedicated to being a well-moderated, cosy, friendly place to talk and share stuff about amateur videogame making, and everything surrounding that.

It's kinda an offshoot of Game Making Tools, which is a wiki(+) for a similar audience.

Game makers, game writers, game curators, etc. etc. most welcome!

I also try to maintain a list of not-jerk game-making communities on the wiki, which you might find interesting.

Please read the rules before signing-up :)

PS: We have Animal Crossing, LSD, and Klik & Play emoji :3
