@alienmelon I love the combination of the interface with the plain HTML/directories in each of the projects! It feels like going to a museum and then going into the archive behind the scenes
i just finished my portfolio site of abandoned and unfinished (and also finished) work.
it's very unusual, and interesting.
you play as a little ghost exploring my homepage, and talking to skeletons:
check it out! yay!
i'm really happy about this one. :)
I played this nice 3-D colouring-in game at a bar on Satdee. I don't think it's out (yet?), but the creator's itch is here:
It's all outlines on a white screen, but you can walk round in the scene and draw whatever colours you want, wherever. And 'cause it's up in public it turns into a collaborative drawing (that gets reset every day I guess).
Muscleveinia 3-D spoilers
I think the main plot of M3-D is that enemies can knock your helmet off, and it can get dented enough to not fit back on your head but you can still lug it round and maybe fix it with some rocks (and also Dragula has taken over 'cause you failed to defeat them in the unreleased Muscleveinia)
Last night I released "Just Scream" a game about screaming https://www.glorioustrainwrecks.com/node/11553
10 Beautiful Postcards
multimedia collage heap for you to look at and explore:
I wrote a new post about showcasing at Playdate, the LA Zine Fest, weird games, and what it means for an event like "Playdate" to lose it's name...
This is a lot of cultural criticism, and what the Playdate (game toy) means to someone like me.
made a game where you throw milkshakes at nigel farage. thrown together in record time https://www.glorioustrainwrecks.com/node/11549
Hi! I'm admin of this instance, please feel free to contact me about anything.
Hi! Game Making Social is a part of the Fediverse dedicated to being a cosy, friendly place to talk and share stuff about amateur videogame making, and everything surrounding that.
It's kinda an offshoot of Game Making Tools, which is a wiki(+) for a similar audience.
Game makers, game writers, game curators, etc. etc. most welcome!
I also try to maintain a list of not-jerk game-making communities on the wiki, which you might find interesting.
Please read the rules before signing-up :)
PS: We have Animal Crossing, LSD, and Klik & Play emoji :3
