Thinking of B game like a B movie in the older sense, of something played alongside the A thing, but lower budget, more freedom given to the maker...

I was gunna call this Castlevania 10 sequel a BBB game, but realised it didn't really make sense, is all.

The entire soundtrack to The List was composed by my friend, Christopher Psukhe. Please think about paying his bandcamp page for the OST a visit!

After more than a year in the making, I'm proud to present my biggest game ever: The List!

Elizabeth the elephant wants to save her village from a flock of self-propelled airplanes that threaten their way of life. But what can she do...?

The List is a light-hearted adventure game with simple platforming, a few minigames, and a focus on dialogue. It should take 2-3 hours to finish. test I like hg101 but isn't it stolen valour to post something ClassicsOfGame already covered like five times earlier in the same month

after scurrying for two days and trying to harvest fruits and vegetables to sustain myself during the hardships of "game development", I have managed to finish a short, browser playable tribute to the most important real frog, The Loveland Frog!

i leave this open in a tab and every once in a while i just open it and stare

Here we are nearly a week into April, and I'm finally going to start on my "making a game in April" commitment I made on Select Button. Gonna depend on Ink for this

Uh Oh this 𝘈𝘯𝘪𝘮𝘢𝘭 𝘊𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨-like DS game 𝘔𝘢𝘨𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘯'𝘴 𝘘𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘵: 𝘔𝘺𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘛𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘴 looks rad as hell. And expensive. Probably time to hack this 3DS.

Well hello @thecatamites !

I think you know how Mastodon works, but if you have any questions just ask :knp_frog:

Spiko The Hedgehog came to life, so I have celebrated this moment by making a documentary game (or "documentarygame" for short) about it!

stuff I've worked on recently:

- recreated the cover art of a video game I played in a dream (depicted)

- spent half a day in an incoherent state making a remix of another game

- committed to making a weekly sprite comic about some of my own games (I'll post the full backlog when I finish today's)

- made a lot of progress on a large game (~2 hours long) I started in dec 2017. it's coming out soon!

Hi! Game Making Social is a part of the Fediverse dedicated to being a cosy, friendly place to talk and share stuff about amateur videogame making, and everything surrounding that.

It's kinda an offshoot of Game Making Tools, which is a wiki(+) for a similar audience.

Game makers, game writers, game curators, etc. etc. most welcome!

I also try to maintain a list of not-jerk game-making communities on the wiki, which you might find interesting.

Please read the rules before signing-up :)

PS: We have Animal Crossing, LSD, and Klik & Play emoji :3
