Gunna start sharing bits of music, because I haven't been touching any game tools.

Working on a library of samples, was trying to get some specific J-pop Yamaha sounds and making something nice, but getting this PlayStaion atmosphere instead.

(also I wrote this little LMMS guide for making stuff without having to know how oscillators and shit work)

I found my friend the bug.

It's a saunders case moth (look up pictures, they're pretty wild)

the case it's lugging round it about as long as my hand. The bug it about as wide at my fingers.

Found it all cacooned on the ground one day and thought 'oh wow a bagworm from animal crossing' and put it in the garden. Glad to see it's doing well (and it seems to travel pretty far)

def something about the way high- res. rpg maker games look that i like

lots of space, characters look like emoji ... i dunno.

Time for some noggintucker.

Dunno what's good, I just went by titles, and I like Ted Nelson.

(Also I cleaned my downloads folder by putting everything in another folder [again])

My favourite thing about the miserable work of VRML viewers is that this one calls the basic/minimal mode 'cute'

Cool thing about playing EDF5 on Linux is if you force Direct 3D all the reflections go a shimmery pink

Hi! Game Making Social is a part of the Fediverse dedicated to being a well-moderated, cosy, friendly place to talk and share stuff about amateur videogame making, and everything surrounding that.

It's kinda an offshoot of Game Making Tools, which is a wiki(+) for a similar audience.

Game makers, game writers, game curators, etc. etc. most welcome!

I also try to maintain a list of not-jerk game-making communities on the wiki, which you might find interesting.

Please read the rules before signing-up :)

PS: We have Animal Crossing, LSD, and Klik & Play emoji :3
